Sumitomo Cyclo
RMB Group and Sumitomo have a dedicated philosophy to exceed our customers' requirements and mutually agreed expectations and, to this end, our joint policy is to design, manufacture and market the finest quality, most complete range of power transmission products in the industry today.
The Sumitomo range of products from RMB Group includes:
Drive 400 Concentric Gear Reducers
Compact, highly efficient, maintenance free, shock absorbing gearboxes are available with ratios upto 658503:1 in triple reduction. Size for size, Drive 4000 delivers substantially more torque than conventional helical speed reducers, and now also offer a wider range of ratios and models.
Drive 4000 Concentric Gearmotors
Specify Cyclo Drive 4000 gearmotors and speed reducers when reliability, efficiency and low maintenance are critical. High efficiency Cyclo Drive Series 4000 gearmotors & brakemotors offer a wider range of ratios and models - (0.12 kW upto 55 kW). They provide up to 60% higher output torque, sizeforsize, than many conventional gearmotors.
Fine Cyclo Series
Specify Fine Cyclo when zero backlash, compact size, low weight, high single stage reduction, frequent start/stop and reversing duty, high torque/weight ratio, low vibration and low maintenance long life is required. The Fine Cyclo Series uses the unique cyclo rolling motion speed reducer principle to add zero backlash to a comprehensive list of advantages over conventional gears - the gear units are assembled without clearance and therefore without mechanical backlash.
Paramax 8000 Parallel and right angle speed reducers
Featuring a concept of standardised gear set design and manufacture, Paramax offers an economical and uniformly high quality product for demanding parallel shaft and right angle applications, the Paramax Series has been recently expanded to include 7 new additional sizes. There is now a total of 18 parallel right angle speed reducer sizes available across Europe.
SM Beier Mechanical Variator Drive
Specify SM Beier when a reliable, high horsepower, high efficiency mechanical variable speed drive is required. SM Beier delivers higher capacity, infinitely adjustable speed. With a unique speed variation method that transmits power through a viscous friction film of oil to separate thin metal discs. Sumitomo SM Beier Variators are available with higher capacities than any other mechanical adjustable speed drive system from 0.18kW upto 150kW. Speeds are infinitely adjustable within a 3.3:1, 4:1 or 10:1 speed ranges depending on the model. Consistency of the speed range remains stable - even over long periods of time.
ST Worm Gear Reducers
The brand new ST-Worm range of smaller worm gear reducers, compliments existing Hedcon worm gear products and finer hypoid gears. Innovative in both concept and design, the ST Worm comprises seven sizes with up to nine ratios, which are all grease filled for life. The ST Worm combines maximum reliability and optimum efficiency with low noise and no maintenance as standard. It offers industry a versatile reduction drive that is modern, light and compact in design. They are readily available with input powers of between 0.12 and 4.0 kW (using 1400 min-1 motorised version), and up to 9.37 kW for non-motorised units. Output torques ranging from 9 Nm to 385 Nm (once again at n1 = 1400 min-1). Universally available in shaft, foot and flange mounted variations, all units can be supplied as either motor or non-motorised versions with a wide choice of optional extras. These optional extras include: torque arm support; single or double output shafts; double extended input shafts; taper roller bearings on output; pre-drilled for oil lubrication; integrated torque limiter; integrated casing flange; and screw-on casing flange.
